About the Integrated Music Medicine Workshop:
Vibration is Medicine. Experience the transformative potential of vibration, Rhythm and Nada Yoga derived from ancient Classical Indian Music, using your own Voice as your instrument. Delve deep into the harmonious synergy between mind, body, and sound, discovering the incredible power that resonates within us all.
What you will learn?

Sounds are not just heard by our ears but felt through our entire being. Sound healing also taps into the power of vibrations to reach every part of our body. Theories suggest that stressed-out or diseased cells change frequencies, and develop discordant vibrations from the rest of the body. Sound healing may help cells operate in harmony once again.
Through sound, rhythm and frequency, we can enable our brainwaves to down-shift our normal beta state, the waking consciousness, to a relaxed consciousness in the alpha state, and reach the theta meditative state and even delta (sleep), where internal healing occurs.
Sound waves produce subconscious activity in the brain. Sound waves are like aural units of measurement, each of these units enter through the ear and into the brain where a chain reaction of psychological and physiological changes can be observed. We may all have experienced that when a certain song makes us nostalgic, it produces certain psychological shifts in our perception. There is a physical component to the way sound waves interact with your brain. Each sound wave must be inspected by the brain and turned into neural information and with it comes a wide array of action potentials that swarm around to make sense of it. Combine these interactions with the slow pace and passiveness of Yin Yoga, you have the perfect backdrop for a healing experience that can help to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
If you can talk you can sing! You do NOT need to be a singer or musician to derive benefits, this practice is applicable for everyone.

This workshop is not about striving to sing wonderful melodies, rather it is rediscovering Harmony in the chaos! Getting connected with your internal rhythms & Vibrations, and reawakening your inner sensations are the goals we strive towards in this workshop!
Sound is the gateway to healing. The ancient vocal practices of Indian classical Music is led by Daniel a devoted Classical Musician in both Western and Eastern Music, with Guitar and Indian Sarangi as his main instruments. He aims to reconnect you to your voice, which is your primal means of expression.
The exercises are designed for you to experience Rhythm, Vibration and Sound using your own voice and body as instruments.
The Rhythmic exercises of Sargam have incredible benefits of harmonising your mind, body, and spirit. The self-produced vibrations from singing are powerful to help to open blockages physically, mentally and emotionally.
Connection between Vibration, Sound, Yoga & Movements
Ultimately, the goal of Yoga is to develop mindfulness, awareness and sharpen one pointed concentration. The vibration produced through specific notes of the SARGAM work on the chakras and has the ability to travel within various channels (Nadis) deep within the body. The healing vibrations reawaken and re-sensitize the cells and body elements. Physically, it aids in improving blood circulation, massaging internal organs, detoxifying and removing stale mucus, debris and toxins from the body among other things.
Emotionally, vibration exercises remove stale/ dead winds from the body channels. Negative emotions are also given an outlet to be expelled in a healthy manner. The deep energetic and electromagnetic channels are also impacted and inner intelligence is awakened.
This becomes an aid to having deeper experience in Meditation and Yoga movements, thus, enriching your spiritual practices.
