AYURVEDIC MASSAGE

Duration: 60min Cost: 35 USD

The focus of Ayurvedic massage is not only on the physical body and muscles, but also on the subtle energies and channels that carry "prana" – the life force energy throughout our body. In other words Ayurvedic massage is a type of holistic bodywork that promotes integration of body, mind and spirit. Your entire body will be massaged during this process and this is a fairly gentle and relaxing massage. Ayurvedic Massage does not focus on specific ailments but rather it treats the entire body, mind and spirit in order to bring about harmony and deep relaxation.

TREKKERS MASSAGE

Duration: 60min Cost: 40 USD

Trekkers massage is a combination of an ayurvedic massage and elements of deep tissue massage with Thai stretching. The goal of this massage is to loosen the muscles and improve flexibility. Pressure used in this massage is firm and stretching works on loosening the joints of the body and releasing tightness and tension. A lot of attention is given to working on the feet and legs as well as the shoulders – areas most strained during trekking, so this massage is perfect as a recovery measure after hiking/trekking or as preparation for such activities.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Duration: 60min Cost: 40 USD

Deep Tissue Massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of the muscles. It is a firm massage that reaches deeper into the tissue with a more intense pressure. Massage techniques used are similar to other types of massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. This particular massage is recommended for people who are comfortable with a more intense touch. Deep tissue massage therapists will use their fingers, thumbs, fists, forearms and elbows to stretch the muscles and tendons. Benefits of this massage include releasing of tension, loosening of the entire body, it can also improve range of motion and posture.

THAI MASSAGE

Duration: 60min Cost: 40 USD

Thai massage uses passive stretching and firm pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. This is a dry massage meaning that it does not use any oil and it is performed fully clothed on a mattress placed directly on the floor. The massage therapist will use their hands, feet and the weight of their body to move your body into various positions to achieve passive stretching. There is constant body contact between the therapist and the client, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked.
